I change my vote!

Derrick Rose. MVP.  End. Of. Story.  I'm not sure whether this is a good thing exactly, as it will probably provide that extra anger for LeBron and Co., come playoff time....but whatever, he deserves it.

That was as impressive as it gets.  In the 4th quarter Miami let Wade and LeBron take turns attempting to keep Rose in front of them.  Neither could.  "Witnessing" Rose take over, I wonder if LeBron was remembering what it was like when NBA fans looked at him not with contempt, but with adulation.  Those days for LeBron are long gone now.  People want to root against him, and rightfully so.  What makes professional sports so appealing is watching the best athletes in the world demand to go up against the best and not shy away from that challenge.  LeBron couldn't handle what comes with being a superstar in the NBA.  He wants the praise and glory without the adversity.  This is what separates a "superstar" from a "geat player".  So Miami, the home of fake tans and fake boobs is now home to fake superstars.

  1. What a game. Total change in defensive effort from the night before. Omer had probably his best game as a Bull and really changes things defensively when he's on the court. Deng's 4th quarter was huge.

  2. I think we're gonna be seeing a lot of Omer down the stretch. Things are looking good right now, but did you see Simmons' trade article? He gave the Bulls an F- for not upgrading the SG whereas Ric Bucher, as I was reading between the lines, seem to think the Bulls did the right thing by standing pat and not trading for a marginal upgrade. It's a tough call.

  3. Bulls supposedly offered Brewer and two firsts for OJ Mayo, the guy that they thought was a difference maker. That's a pretty damn good offer, instead the Grizzlies supposedly didn't want to help Chicago and were set to take Josh freaking McRoberts and one first rounder for him. I love Simmons, but he's absolutely wrong. Is Shane Battier, JR Smith or Courtney Lee that big of an upgrade over what they have, I say hell no. Mayo and Marcus Thornton were the two prize, they had the best offer for Mayo and definitely couldn't match Sacramento's offer of Carl Landry for Thornton. They're fine.
